Kybella is a non-surgical, prescription medication that is used to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin, also called “double chin.” It is FDA approved. Kybella contains Deoxycholic acid, which is a bile acid that is naturally produced by the human body. After it is injected, the acid destroys the fat cells beneath the chin, making it impossible to allow fat to store in that area.
